About The Memorial Benefit
The MV Memorial pays tribute to Mary Virgine Stermer and the wonderful life she lived. Caring for others and giving back to the community was very important to her as she made it a focal point in her life each day. The tournament continues this generosity and compassion today by donating 100 percent of its proceeds to the non-profit "Little Friends for Peace" founded by MV's daughter 30 years ago in Minnesota.
It is now based out of Washington D.C. and affects more than 2,000 children each year by teaching at risk youth non-violent way to solve their everyday conflicts.
